Paul counted all his religious success as loss. His focus in life was the excellency of the knowledge of Christ. We're tempted to have confidence in the flesh, but our identity needs to be be in Christ. We seek to establish our own righteousness when we seek to live the Christian life in our own way. The power of the resurrection is available to us when we yield our will to God.
