The Passover was instituted by God as a memorial to the deliverance of the children of Israel from Egypt. Today we partake of communion as a reminder of Christ's sacrifice for us. The Greek word for communion indicates close fellowship. We are called to close fellowship with God and His people. This requires brokenness and humility. Let's follow Jesus' example in these things.
