We live in a complicated world. Technological changes challenge the older people. This is not so with the Bible. God doesn't change and He is not complicated. Jesus said things in a few word that were not complicated but complete. God wants your life to fit the Bible. He does not want any wax-covered cracks in your heart. A sincere heart loves Jesus and is faithful to Him.
